The staff are always cheerful and ready to help. Their service is second to none. They have a wide range of cameras and equipment and can advise on what to buy, not always the most expensive. There is also a range of second hand equipment. I thoroughly recommend Clemens if you are looking for a camera. They also have printing facilities.

Out of the shops in Bodmin, Clemens Photography must be one of the last original shops to still be trading in Fore Street.
It is no wonder as their customer service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble, well informed staff. Highly recommend them.

I initially ‘phoned to enquire whether they had cf cards. They went to check they did and put one by for me to collect which I duly did. Gold stars here for being helpful over ‘phone.
I later went to the shop and added two uv filters to the purchase with advice from the gentleman who served me.
He then asked me if I had a second battery, something I usually do but had not yet done.
When I said not he went upstairs and came down with a used battery for a tenner. So saved me a few Bob there and this battery charges, holds the charge and works fine.
I also noticed they had shed loads of photography stuff. If you have not yet visited I suggest it’s worthwhile just to have a look at the range.
I think what surprised me the most was that they were willing to answer questions and offer advice rather than rush me out of the door.
If I was asked to assess the service here in one word I would say outstanding because it was way above the usually woeful service we see in most shops today and I am not easily pleased or impressed.
Obviously I will be going back.

I brought a lens from these guys. Brilliant lens, great staff & great service. In these days of everybody buying via the internet, it is reassuring to know that there is local camera shop that has everything you need and at very good prices.
Shopping is not a chore when you visit Clemens, it is an unforgettable experience. You come away with a comfortable feeling, knowing that the true Cornish ethics of honestly are still firmly embedded in a traditional camera shop. Even if you just want to browse, it is worth a visit. The shop itself is located centrally to Bodmin, has parking behind the shop in a large public car park and is surrounded by many other local shops, still embroidering the feel of a “Proper Local Town centre”.

Asked for advice on a wide angle lens got what i was looking for “10-20mm Sigma” ( second hand ) , the man that served me knew exactly what I wanted even offered extra at discount price! great experience will definitely buy there again.

Decided to have a canvas print made as a gift for Christmas. I first tried one of the national companies and found the online service useless. When uploading an image it is compressed for a faster upload speed, which you then cannot re-size leading to poor quality pictures. So I decided to go local and found the online service used by Clemens to be far superior. The final product is a real high quality canvas which I’m really happy with. The service was also great with good communication via email. Definitely worth going local.
I just got off the phone to a very polite man at the store. Incredibly helpful and exactly how you’d want all customer services to be, with the customers needs and wants clearly top priority. Superb.
So helpful! I’d definitely recommend these guys to anyone. Couldn’t do enough for us and really knew what they were talking about. There was no hard sell and when we had to go back with a faulty product there was no quibble.
I would like to say a big thank you to the staff that helped me and my husband print some of our wedding photos. We needed different sizes and the staff that helped us were very patient, friendly and helpful. The prints and sizes are perfect; the quality is amazing! Will definitely be using you again
